The World Autism Awareness Month Virtual Run/Walk/Ride 2015 provides you with an opportunity to raise autism awareness, raise funds for your preferred not for profit autism organisation in Australia and receive a finisher's medal for your efforts.
It is a virtual run, walk or ride that allows you or a group of friends to set your own distance and pace, by running, walking, or riding anywhere and any time during the month of April. Simply get a group of friends together and consider entering an existing event in April or create your own based on your experience and capability. Any distance that you and your friends are capable of achieving. (Examples include 3kms, 5 kms, 10kms, 21.1kms, 42.2kms or even 100kms). It doesn't matter if you are a trail runner, walker, road runner, mountain bike rider or road specialist - the aim is to have fun, promote autism awareness and be rewarded for your efforts.
Each week starting January, free Run4Autism t-shirts and singlet tops will be given away until the end of April 2015 on the Run4Autism facebook page. Conditions Apply.
