Superhero Walk for Autism
The Wagga Autism Support Group Incorporated (WASG Inc) are holding a Superhero themed walk for Autism. This is not a fundraising event but as awareness of Autism in the community.
The WASG have asked Jeremy Samson from Time 2 Train Asperger's program - Australia to open the Superhero Walk. The Time 2 Train Program strives through exercise to assist children, teenagers and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other learning difficulties, to build confidence, improve co-ordination, develop social and coping skills to enable them to become valued members of our society - www.time2trainaspergers.com
Come dressed in your favourite superhero outfit and walk around the lake to help support and raise awareness for Autism. There is a shorter walk available.
There is also prizes for the best dressed and you can find out what services are available in Wagga and surrounding areas. And local band "The Mighty Yak" will be playing live.
