You’re invited to a night of music with new friends and old to help provide a fresh start for women who have experienced homelessness and domestic violence.
We’re taking over Agosti Espresso at 7 Darby St on Friday 27th March at 6pm and all money raised from ticket sales will go towards purchasing essential supplies for women who are moving from interim accomodation into their own accomodation. Dinner/snacks and drinks will be available to purchase.
Enjoy a jam-packed line-up including: — Sorella Women’s choir — Harpist Morgana Osaki — Solo artist Max Priest — Raduga Duo — Suellyn Moore from Nova for Women and Children
We hope to raise at least $1500 to purchase basic essentials for women moving into new accomodation. These include items such as towels, sheets, toilet paper, cutlery, saucepans, soap...the list goes on...
We'll top off the packs with cards hand-made by us on the night of the event!
Numbers are strictly limited so make it snappy before we sell out.
If you would like to donate related NEW items for the packs or have any further questions, please contact email@example.com.
WHERE EXACTLY WILL THE FUNDS GO?
Nova for Women and Children help to find accomodation for women who are experiencing homelessess, often due to domestic violence. Many of those women don't have the most basic supplies in their new accomodation so essentials packs take the pressure off to help them start fresh.
Agosti Espresso have been wonderful enough to provide the venue for free, which means that Newcastle Amnesty and friends can use every dollar raised to purchase items for the packs. Nova will then distribute them to women in need of them.
Agosti staff will be ready to take your orders! They have a brilliant new menu which covers everything from coffee and tea to a drink from the bar, snacks, dinner and desert.
