2015 Street Fleet Charity Gold Challenge - Banksia Park SA - Has Ended
DO Details
Barkuma Inc is a member-based, not-for-profit organisation that believes society is enriched through the active inclusion of people of all abilities.
Established in 1967 by a group of parents in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, Barkuma has grown to employ more than 130 staff and provide services to over 750 people, making it one of the largest disability organisations in South Australia.
Services include open employment, supported employment, transition services, community living support, training, counselling, advocacy and support.
Now in its 13th year the Annual Charity Golf Day raises funds to benefit a specific project or program.
Golf for a great cause!
We still have limited vacancies for teams wishing to participate in the 2015 Street Fleet Charity Golf Challenge to be held on Friday 27 March 2015 at the Tea Tree Gully Golf Course.
This event has been hugely successful in the past and the funds raised this year will once again support the Transition Program.
This program is now in its 15th year and assists high school students with disability and learning difficulties to make a successful transition from school to future pathways. We aim to ensure that students who may not always have the chance to participate in such a program are able to do so by way of fundraising events like these, which are crucial to their inclusion.
In addition to supporting delivery of this valuable program, players also have the opportunity to promote their business and products to an audience of over 100 decision makers from business, government and non-government organisations.
Time:
