International Women’s Day Lunch and Forum - Wollongong NSW - Has Ended

Combine Lisa Wilkinson, Wendy Harmer, Nikki Gemmell, Deb Wallace and the extraordinary "Ëffie" with our own Nieves Murray and Melva Crouch and you will have a day not to be missed.  In 2005, the Illawarra International Women's Day Committee was formed by Vicki Tiegs and Judith Henderson. The aim was to bring people together to raise awareness of the roles women play in our community, provide an opportunity for networking, raise funds for a charity that supports women and provide scholarships.

While the women's movement in the Illawarra had been operating successfully for many years, we believed we could support their work by tapping into a new layer of our community.  In 2015, we will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Committee's formation and have created an exciting day of speakers and panellists.
