THE 2015 MELANOMA MARCH ARRIVES TO WOLLONGONG
SEEKING TO RAISE OVER $1 MILLION FOR BREAKTHROUGH MELANOMA RESEARCH & WORLD-FIRST CLINICAL TRIALS
‘Melanoma March’ 2015 is set to arrive in Wollongong for the second time on Sunday, 22 February from 7:30am at Stuart Park. The month long fundraising and melanoma awareness campaign is an initiative of Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) and now in its fourth year.
Touted as ‘Australia’s cancer’, Australia has the highest incidence of melanoma in the world with over 12,500 new cases diagnosed each year. In 20–34 year-olds, melanoma kills more young Australians than any other single cancer.
