Start Time/Finish Times for sellers

Gates open at 6:15 a.m. for sellers to enter the park and set up. The gates will close at 1:30 p.m. The Car Boot Sale is very popular. There are no reserved spots. Stallholders are advised to arrive early to secure the best sites.

We only permit entry for cars lined up from the Terrigal Drive side of Willoughby Road.

Please note that you should ensure you bring enough small coins and notes - the Lions Club cannot change notes.

Site Information

Sites will be allocated on a turn up basis similar to any controlled parking area. Site areas will have been pre-marked.

Sites on each side of the centre path will be filled first. The sites on the Scout Hall side (the western side of Lions Park) will be filled next. Finally the area adjacent to Terrigal Lagoon will be used. There are no pre-booked sites.

Site Costs

All sellers are required to pay a $20 for a normal car size site - this is approximately 4 x 4 metres. You are welcome to have more than one site, but each additional site or part site will also be charged at $20. A Lions Club Member (who will show proof of identity) will call to collect the fee after you have set up. This money is a donation to the Terrigal - Wamberal Lions Club.

What you can sell

Sellers at the Car Boot Sale provide a huge range of goods including second hand goods, plants and some foods. Some sellers specialize in new items - imported and hand made. Some sellers use the Car Boot Sale to raise some cash from unwanted items from home.

You are not permitted to sell dangerous or illegal goods. There are restrictions on types of foods that can be sold due to health regulations. Please check with the Lion member in charge at the Car Boot Sale.

We do not permit the selling of hot food or hot and/or cold drinks including water. These are sold by the Lions Club and our contracted Coffee vendor.

Cancellations

Occasionally the Car Boot Sale may be cancelled. The major cause of cancellation is poor weather. Often the decision to cancel will not be made until 8.00 a.m. on the day. Rain can clear and allow the Car Boot Sale to go ahead! Sometimes it may be possible to advise a cancellation on the day before the Car Boot Sale as the grounds may already be too wet. In all cases please contact us on the mobile number below.

Contact/ Further Information
