Inverell Lions is a service club that is involved in fundraising, helping people and building local community projects. Inverell Lions run the Sapphire City Markets on the first and third Sunday of each month, on the banks of the Macintyre River in Campbell Park starting 6.30am, for more information please contact Phil Beeton 6721 5871 between 6 and 9pm.

Money is also distributed into various Lions Foundations such as - Save Sight, Public Health Care Foundation, Diabetes Foundation, Visual Independence, Cord Blood Foundation, Medical Research, Australian Spinal Cord Fellowship, Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research, Australian Children's Mobility, Australian Lions Drug Awareness, Lions Prostate Cancer Research & Treatment Project, Pre-school Autism Education & Therapy Project, Youth Exchange Program and the Youth of the Year.
