Cherbourg Ration Shed Reconciliation Fun Run 2015 QLD - Has Ended
Did you know that there will be sports workshops in Cherbourg after the Fun Run? Traditional games and sports workshops with renowned sports ambassadors – 2 hours of great sports action.

Come on everybody, it’s almost time to register! You can do this online at www.rationshed.com.au/funrun/fun-run-registration/ or come down in person on the special registration days at the Ration Shed in Cherbourg before the event - dates to be advised closer to the event.
NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION ON THE FUN RUN DAY! Registrations close at midnight on Friday 15th May, 2015.

Registrations open in March!
You can register on this site by simply clicking on the Registration page or you can register in person at the Ration Shed. Come down anytime (office hours) to the Ration Shed Museum in Barambah Avenue in Cherbourg. It will also be possible to register in person on special registration days at the Ration Shed in Cherbourg on dates to be announced.
Registration fees range from $2 for children registered through their schools to $25 for adults and $50 for families. Ration Shed President Aunty Sandra Morgan said: “the registration cost should not put anyone off. Everybody is welcome to participate; if the costs are too high for you and your family, please tell us and we’ll work something out.” Registration also puts you into the draw for lucky prizes and entry to special activities.
For people not participating in the run: food will be on sale and there will be lots of activities – ranging from visiting the Ration Shed to sports workshops, performing arts, visual displays, stalls and Aboriginal dance workshops. Everyone is most welcome after the race to come and join the fun. There will be donation boxes on site or you can donate on Donations Page on this site.
Road closures and Buses
Please be advised that the Murgon to Cherbourg Road will be closed to all traffic from 8 am to 10 am on the day. Traffic using Perkins Street Murgon may experience delays from 8 am to 8.20 am as participants leave Murgon Showgrounds. After the official proceedings buses will run to Murgon to return participants to the Murgon Showgrounds area with the last bus leaving Cherbourg at 1pm. Bus transport is encouraged as parking is limited in Cherbourg.
