On Sunday 24 May 2015, 1 000 people will run (or walk) up a 37-storey building. That’s around 74 flights and 810 stairs. Why? Because they want to help fight cancer. Climb for Cancer turns 4 this year. And of course, Brisbane’s original stair climb will bring all the fun and fanfare you know and love! This year we’re introducing a brand-NEW category that’s an AUSTRALIAN FIRST—‘Mates Race’. This brand new category allows two stair climbers to take on two stairwells in one race to the top. If you’ve ever wanted to race your best mate, your partner or even your boss in a stair climb, this is your chance! Don’t worry, we’re still offering all your old-favourite categories: Elite, Individual, Team and Relay Team.Secure the hottest ticket in town. Places have sold out two years running and trust us, you do not want to miss this!

Register by 19 December to go into the draw to WIN a $200 dinner voucher for Madame Wu.

Also announcing an exclusive for Waterfront Place tenants and employees - register by 30 January to WIN one month of free parking at the front door of Waterfront Place (terms and conditions apply).Climb for Cancer has helped fund life-changing cancer research at Mater. This year, our goal is to raise vital funds for six important Mater Research projects and we want you on board. So register now! And don’t forget to grab a few mates to join you.

Funds raised go toward Mater Research – a world class institute that is committed to academic medicine and aims to discover, develop, translate, and commercialise medical research that integrates with relevant areas of excellence within clinical practice.
