Walk4water 2015 - Melbourne - Has Ended

In Australia we rarely have to walk more than 10 steps to access clean drinking water, yet in the developing world more than 700 million don’t have access to safe water and every day millions of women walk 10,000 steps to collect often unsafe water.

To help improve access to safe water for everyone, WaterAid is asking people to register for their annual fundraiser at www.Walk4Water.com.au, which raises funds to help transform lives in the world’s poorest communities.

The concept is simple. Register and commit to walking 10,000 steps a day for one week in March to coincide with World Water Day on March 22.

Every $30 raised can provide one person in the developing world with on-going access to clean, safe water.
