Super Boss Day asks bosses to dress as super heroes to raise funds for HeartKids. Bosses who are nominated by their employees – or nominate themselves – will pledge to dress as a super hero on Thursday 19th February 2015.
From the time they register to take part in Super Boss Day, bosses will be able to raise funds for HeartKids by asking their employees, friends and family to sponsor them via a simple online sponsorship page.
About HeartKids Victoria/Tasmania:
HeartKids Victoria/Tasmania is a non-profit organisation that provides hope and support to children with Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) and their families, while raising awareness and vital research funding for the chronic disease.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in Australian children under one, and heart defects are the most common birth abnormality in this country, affecting one in 100 babies.
HeartKids developed Super Boss Day after seeing so many children with CHD reflect the courage and resilience of superheroes over the years. Super Boss Day not only raises awareness for HeartKids, but provides a team building environment for colleagues to work together in achieving their fundraising goal whilst supporting children with CHD.
