Spend a summer’s night in our whimsical garden, filled with Adelaide’s most charming stall holders & delectable goodies. Snuggle up under the stars with cozy picnic blankets, sip iced tea and feast on Argentinian delights from Chimichurri Grill.

Browse stalls and products from our favourite locals Vintage Fox, Tea for Who?, Sleepy Giraffe, The Jolly Teacup, Emma & Tom, Wonder where you were, Littlest Vintage and Collecte'.

Then settle in for the night for a screening of Half the sky: Turning oppression into opportunity, a passionate call to arms against our era’s most pervasive human rights violation: the oppression of women and girls in the developing world.

Please come along to support a wonderful, grassroots project facilitating real, community-lead change in Phalombe, Malawi.

A bit about Ekari:
Founded in 2009, the Ekari Foundation is a community-based nonprofit organization operating in the Phalombe district of Malawi, Africa. Our educational programs provide those students most in need with a solid educational foundation equipping them with the skills needed to obtain employment. Our support does not stop after secondary school; we support students’ higher education – trade school, college, university – as well. Through our community programs we work to provide food security, empowering and self-sustaining small businesses, and adult literacy classes for our students’ families and communities as well as support the community through infrastructure improvements to local schools.

All of our programs are created directly through a systematic assessment of students’ and communities’ needs in Malawi. Our students, community members, and Malawi board members are integral to program planning, decision making, and implementation processes. Our Malawi office is staffed by Malawi nationals.
