Mining Emergency Response Competition (MERC) - Perth - Has Ended

Don't miss the MINING EMERGENCY RESPONSE COMPETITION (MERC)

Road Rescue, Firefighting, First Aid, Hazmat, Vertical Rescue and more.  REAL LIFE scenarios will be used to test the skills of the Emergency Response Teams at the fourth annual MERC.

Langley Park will be set alight as teams participate in emergency response scenarios on the 29th and 30th November 2014.

This event will showcase the skills within the Mining industry and highlight the importance on safety.  The competition simulates real life emergency situations and assesses the skills of teams across a range of emergency and rescue disciplines.

There are great photo opportunities and exciting, heart-racing live rescues by the teams.

There is a range of free activities for the kids including the Bouncy Castle, Face Painting and giveaways.

All money raised from the events will be donated to the winning Team's charity of choice.  Nominated charities include Cancer Council, Flying Doctors, Salvation Army and Telethon Adventurers.
