On the 15th November, the WA Government had planned to drop drum lines up and down the WA Coast to catch and kill sharks. This EPA determined on 11 September that the plan was flawed, having an immeasurable environmental impact, thereby giving the thousands of people who spoke out against this initiative a big sigh of relief and a sense of vindication.
There is still work to do, but let's get together and celebrate the momentous occasion - an occasion that will go down in history; and is an impetus to get drum lines and killer shark nets out of the waters globally!
