Anti-Poverty Week aims to strengthen public understanding of the causes and consequences of poverty and hardship around the world and withing Australia. Vividwireless Cup for a Cause supports this initiative and hopes to raise awareness for Anti-Poverty Week in Perth, WA. This week encourages research, discussion and action to address these problems, including action by individuals, communities, organisations, and governments.
The event also aim to raise awareness for The Big Issue, Australis's longest-standing and most significant social enterprise. It develops solutions to help homeless, marginalised, and disadvantaged people positively change their lives. Social enterprises include: The Big Issue magazine, Women’s Subscription Enterprise, and The Big issue Classroom.
