Collective Heart Breakfast - Newcastle - Has Ended
DO Details
Members and guests are invited to join us for another thought provoking and inspiring breakfast where we can connect, learn and develop with like minded people....
This month we'll be hearing from Jodi Tweed and Dan Huber....
Jodi Tweed has been traveling to Nepal since 2003, working in orphanages and schools and being involved in education and project development for Himalayan Children. Key relationships have been established with Nepalese diplomats, business managers, medical personnel, media, teachers, aid workers and locals who do amazing ‘on the ground’ work within education, remote villages and for children in need. Determined to do more, Jodi and partner Phil have set up Hope Alliance, so with others they can join forces and make a bigger difference.
Jodi is also the event manager for the 2014 International Children's Games being held in December in Lake Macquarie.
Dan Huber, husband, father, personal trainer, part time chippy, mining contractor, ultra marathon runner and Collective Heart member will share the floor to explore what it takes to run ultra marathons, and how these attributes can be used in other domains of life. Dan has run 9 ultra marathons, including a 173 km run which took approximately 36 hours. Amongst other things we'll explore aspects of the human spirit from endurance and focus to commitment and choice.
Please use your email address when registering for this event. Early registration is appreciated as it assists with catering.
This is an included breakfast for members so please use the promo code to waive the attendance fee.
About the Collective Heart
The Collective Heart is a membership based group of like minded people who are open and interested in growing personally and professionally and are keen to actively use their skills to the benefit of their business, families, and broader community.
What We Do
We come together once every two months for a membership breakfast. At these breakfasts we will have an opportunity to connect and network. Guest speakers and/or speakers from our group share on topics that can assist us personally and professionally. We will also look at community benefiting initiatives, local and abroad, that our members are involved in and/or interested in developing.
