The Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS invites you to a free talk and screening of the new environmental documentary, Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret.

Follow an intrepid filmmaker as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world's leading environmental organisations are too afraid to talk about it.

As eye-opening as Blackfish and as inspiring as An Inconvenient Truth, this investigative documentary reveals the devastating environmental impact large-scale factory farming has on our planet, and offers a path to global sustainability for a growing population.

6pm: Doors open*
6.30pm: Stuart White - food, diet and sustainability
7pm: Cowspiracy
*Food and drinks available beforehand at Penny Lane Bar & Cafe (level 01).

Professor Stuart White is the director of the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology, Sydney. For over 25 years he has researched, written and spoken on sustainability issues. He won the 2012 Eureka Prize for Environmental Research for his work with Dana Cordell on phosphorus sustainability and use.

Professor White will introduce the film with a short talk about the latest research linking food, diet and sustainability.
