Get your party dresses and suits on people! On the 27th of November we're going to be partying towards the abolition of human trafficking.
A21 is a campaign aimed to demolish modern day slavery, with most of that being sexual slavery of women and children. Today, there are more than 27million victims of human trafficking, which is more than it has ever been throughout history.
The average age of trafficking victims is 12, with children as young as 4. These victims are forced into prostitution and have to service up to as many as 40 men a day. The sad truth is that only 1-2% of victims are ever rescued or escape.
We are just NOT okay with these stats and with this fund raising event, we are hoping to raise enough to help finance the hero's fronting the A21 campaign, that in our efforts to support them we would be able to help rescue even just one more victim.

Location: Manning Bar, University of Sydney
Ticket prices: 55$ for non USU members
45$ for Access card holders
(the breakdown of your money would be 15$ for food and drink, and 40$ going to the donation to A21 that is 100% tax deductible. For Access members, your food is covered by the USU)
Dresscode: Semiformal/Formal
The night will look like:
- Canapés and one free drink.
- Musical performances
- Short presentation from an A21 representative
- Silent auction
