DO Supports

Multicultural Youth Empowerment Strategy (M-YES) Inc. Mentoring has been identified by all levels of government as the missing link. Through mentoring, M-YES provides a platform to develop sound decision makers of the future and economic participants that would otherwise end up being despondent members of society. M-YES is a leader in tailored mentoring services to vulnerable youth in Queensland. Our programs: Enable youths to make a positive life choices and contribute economically and socially to their communities. We encourage participants to build smart choices into short term and long term goals with the aid of a mentor who stands by the youth for a whole year assisting in planning and in setting tangible goals leading into self determination and independence from welfare and freedom from the vices of isolation and hopelessness. We enhance connections and build youth capacity to take actions to make the most of opportunities in Australia by linking them with neutral role models who are already successful within their chosen vocations. It's about creating new connections between total strangers; We empower young Australians to have their views heard by government through constructive dialogue and advocacy. Our services are readily accessible and offered at no cost to all youth at risk. We run preventative programs that provide help earlier, before a problems spiral out of control. We support responsibility, resilience and self-reliance. We are a voice for the things that matter to your family, your peace in today's multicultural society and to your kids future.
