A Day to Remember Memorial Service
We invite you, your family and friends to join us at the 2014 service to celebrate the lives of those we have loved and lost to cystic fibrosis.
Date: Wednesday, 8th October 2014
Time: 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Venue: Rose Cottage, 9 Davenport Street, Chermside
The service will include special readings, time for reflection, the planting of a rose bush, the opportunity to light a candle as a sign of hope and new life, and refreshments.
We invite you to bring a photo or memento which has special meaning for you, to be placed on a remembrance table. If you wish, you are also invited to share a short poem, quote, prayer or a reflection of your loved one on the day of the service.
You, your family and friends are also invited to send in a contribution to include in the service booklet record of the day. Your contribution to the booklet is welcomed even if you are not able to attend the service. Please email Caitlyn with your photo, poem, prayer, quote or a reflection of your loved one by Wednesday, 1st October 2014.
This non-denominational service will be led by Graham Beattie.
We understand that for some people, this service may be difficult just now, however, when the day comes and you find you would like to attend but have not replied you will be welcome.
