Join some of Australia's leading musos, such as Clare Bowditch, Gossling, Diesel and Stavros Yiannoukas (Bluejuice) and show your support for music in schools!
In 2013 "PlayAir" raised over $100,000 to support The Song Room's delivery of music and arts programs in some of Australia's most disadvantaged schools. In 2014 we're asking you to hold an event and raise funds to reach even more children with music and creativity.
Here are a few ideas of what you could do:
Karaoke! - Host a karaoke night where every song you sing raises funds for The Song Room.
Air Guitar Championships! - Hold an air guitar competition with your friends or colleagues and pay to perform.
Hold a Gig! - Organise some performers, sell tickets and enjoy some music to show your support of music!
OR get down to your local JB Hi Fi store and pick up a PlayAir Air Instrument for just $2.
The Song Room is a national not-for-profit organisation that brightens the futures of Australia’s most disadvantaged children with tailored, high-quality music and arts programs, delivered in partnership with schools across the country.
Our programs are independently proven to lift the academic performance, school attendance, social-emotional wellbeing and community involvement of Australian school children.
The Song Room vision is that all Australian children have the opportunity to participate in music and the arts to enhance their education, personal development and community involvement, giving them the best possible start in life.
