Indigenous Literacy Day at Melbourne Library Service

Melbourne Library Service and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day, a national celebration that raises awareness about literacy in remote Indigenous communities.

Money raised at these events will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation to buy books for children and families in remote Australian communities.

There will be a fundraising book sale at City Library and Southbank Library at Boyd, Acoustica play in the City Library Gallery and see Leann Edwards, indigenous author of 'Emu's Under the Bed' paint the City Library Mural.
