The Cauliflower Club’s focus is supporting the welfare of the disabled and handicapped, by using sport and recreation as a method of enhancing the lives of those less fortunate than us abled bodied, especially sports related injuries, while harnessing the spirit and values of Rugby.
The annual subscription to the Cauliflower Club is just $50 (less than $1 per week). Club Members have the satisfaction of kicking in a $50 fine or donation for every try scored by a Wallaby front rower in a Test match. And the bonus is this ‘fine’ of $50 is therefore tax deductible.
Whilst paying the ‘fine’ is voluntary, we would like to think members would commit to at least one try per year – you are of course welcome to pay all ‘fines’. Of the 36 tries scored by the Wallabies in 2013, only 1 was scored by a front rower (Benn Robinson’s try, Australia v Argentina).
