Brotherhood of St Laurence Lunch with Fiona Sharkie - Melbourne - Has Ended

The Brotherhood of St Laurence presents a special lunchtime event with guest speaker, Fiona Sharkie, as part of their Women's Network.Fiona will deliver a speech titled 'Women Leaders I've Admired'. This event will include a light lunch and a networking opportunity. After a successful career in marketing, Fiona made the transition from the commercial world into the public and not-for-profit sector 10 years ago.

In that time, Fiona has headed up the Office of Women's Policy and Quit Victoria where she was part of some major policy reforms including reform of the family violence system in Victoria and the world-first introduction of plain packaging of tobacco.Concurrently, Fiona has also served in a non-executive director capacity for in the international development sector, first as Deputy Chair of Plan International and now as President of the International Women’s Development Agency.Fiona is currently Chief Executive Officer at Amaze (formally Autism Victoria).
