Welcome to the Mulgrave Farmers Market, a breath of fresh air in the southeastern suburbs. Open every Sunday, the market is a place where you can buy direct, buy fresh, buy weekly, from the people who grow your food.

Sundays 8am-1pm in the grounds of The Body Shop’s HQ, Mulgrave (enter from Jacksons Road, ample parking available on-site).

As well as supporting local community groups and independent traders, Mulgrave Farmers’ Market will provide education on environmental initiatives and social issues. All proceeds raised from the market will go towards funding community projects supported by the Wise Foundation. THE WISE FOUNDATION A charity founded in April 2008, The Wise Foundation has as its core mission: ‘Creating positive social change through economic innovation.’ It brings together much of the community development work of The Body Shop Australia, as well as individual philanthropic activities of the Wise family. It is currently involved in several programmes that aim to strengthen community and assist marginalised Australians, which include: Bizness Babes – a program that supports young mums and women to develop micro-enterprise (www.Biznessbabes.com.au). Bleeding Heart Cafe and Gallery – a social enterprise and training organisation that allows young people to develop skills in hospitality (www.bleedingheart.com.au). Children on the Edge, East Timor – a daytime children‘s centre and playscheme for children whose lives have been disrupted by the upheavals of the East Timor (www.childrenontheedge.org).
