Walk A Mile In My Boots - Adelaide - Has Ended
DO Details
Was it hard for you to get out of bed this morning? Imagine sleeping out in the cold all night – now that’s tough!
For many South Australians who are homeless, the colder weather intensifies the struggle for warmth and shelter. Imagine daily life on the edge… Imagine it in severe winter cold…
Hutt St Centre is calling on you to rise and shine early and walk a mile in the boots of a homeless person, and experience just how cold and challenging the mornings can be.
Register today and join thousands of South Australian’s walking a mile, side-by-side, raising awareness and funds to support people who are homeless and vulnerable during National Homeless Persons’ Week.
Last year over 3,000 people walked a mile in the city – and we’d love to see even more people braving the elements this year. Join us for the city walk, or at one of our new events in McLaren Vale and Barossa. Step up for Adelaide’s homeless and register today.
