Birthing Kit Assembly Day to Celebrate the BKFAs 20th Anniversary - Has Ended

Our Club is hosting a Birthing Kit Assembly Day on Friday, 29 May at Sorrento Tennis Club.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could please display the attached flyer on your noticeboards in Joondalup, Duncraig, Woodvale, and Whitfords.

We are seeking volunteers to help assemble 600 birthing kits to support safer births and save the lives of mothers and newborns. The Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) works to improve birth conditions for women in resource-limited settings by providing clean, essential supplies. Each kit costs less than a cup of coffee yet plays a vital role in reducing infection and preventable deaths.

Every year, more than 300,000 women die from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth—most in developing countries where access to basic medical care is limited.

Registration is encouraged for catering purposes; morning tea provided. Walk-ins are also welcome—arrive when you can and stay as long as you’re able.
