The Child Protection Foundations Annual Black Tie Masquerade Ball is the pinnacle fund raising event for the CPF. Now in it's 12th year it is this event that keeps the CPF moving forward with it's educational initiatives, growing community awareness to child abuse and the steps we can take to help eradicate this socially unacceptable scourge.

Child abuse is in epidemic proportion in Australia, statistics from the AIHW showed there were more than 180,000 active cases of reported child abuse, in four categories: Emotional abuse – 55%; Neglect – 21%; Physical abuse – 14%; and Sexual abuse – 10%.
