Save The Children UWA Summer Book Sale 2026 - Has Ended
DO Details
Here’s something special to do on Valentine’s Day this year: come along and share the experience of the Save the Children Summer Book Sale at the University of Western Australia. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stock up on reading for you and your loved ones, at low, low prices. All the pre-loved items have been donated and carefully sorted by volunteers to ensure only the very best quality is presented.
A special feature of the sale this year will be a comprehensive collection of Irish and Scottish history books which belonged to the late Professor Iain Brash, who taught history at UWA for 48 years. The usual Summer Sale categories will feature modern and classical fiction, lots of children’s books, as well as non-fiction categories including food, gardening, art, biology and environment, biography, history, politics, comics, militaria, and mind, body, spirit. There will also be a selection of Folio Society books and languages other than English books.
Alongside the usual selection of LPs, CDs and DVDs, there will be a range of piano and vocal/songs sheet music. And – ever popular – lots of jigsaws.
The Sale takes place at Hackett Café, UWA, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley on Saturday 14 February 9am - 4pm and Sunday 15 February 9am - 2pm.
All funds raised assist children in Australia and overseas.
