JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes - Perth - Has Ended

The Walk The 7km Walk will begin in Burswood Park, cross over to East Perth, pass Claisebrook Cove, Gloucester Park and the Causeway before returning to Burswood Park finishing in the Walk Village. The Walk is pram and wheelchair friendly, however dogs are not permitted in Burswood Park and along the Walk route. Join us after the Walk for a BBQ lunch, animal farm, face painting, balloons and live entertainment. You can also share your thoughts on our Wall of Hope and meet some Diabetes organisations.
There will be some food options available on the day however we do encourage you to bring a healthy diabetes-friendly lunch with you. Getting to the Walk We recommend taking public transport to the venue. By bus or train: Burswood train station is a short 5 minute walk from the venue. Visit the Trans Perth website for more information. By car: Limited parking is available at Burswood Park and Crown Perth Resort.
