The Walk The 5km Walk will follow the path along the Newcastle Foreshore returning to the Walk Village. The Walk is pram and wheelchair friendly and dogs on leashes are permitted. Join us after the Walk for a BBQ lunch, face painting, jumping castle, balloon twisting and JDRF Idol. There will also be a raffle, arts and crafts corner and live entertainment.
You can also share your thoughts on our Wall of Hope and meet some Diabetes organisations. There will be some food options available on the day however we do encourage you to bring a healthy diabetes-friendly lunch with you. Getting to the Walk We recommend taking public transport to the venue. By bus, train or ferry: The venue is close to bus, train and ferry terminals. Visit the Newcastle City Council website for more information. By car: Parking is available in the Pasha Way Car Park. Thank you for your commitment to JDRF and we look forward to you joining in the fun of the Walk to Cure Diabetes!
