Boot Scootin’ fun at the Royal Queensland Show Red Boot Hoot Gala Ball

Slip on your dancing shoes and dress up Queensland, it’s time to buy your tickets and “whoop” it up at the 2014 Royal Queensland Show Red Boot Hoot, a Gala Ball in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

The Gala Ball is the major annual fundraising event for this much loved children’s charity and will be held at the Royal Convention Centre, Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday 2 August, 2014.

RMHC hopes to raise more than $500,000 this year to continue their work in supporting the families of seriously ill Queensland children.

For more than 25 years RMHC has helped thousands of Queensland families in their time of need by providing free accommodation close to major children’s hospitals for families that need to travel far from home for treatment.

Every dollar raised from the Gala Ball flows directly into Ronald McDonald House Charities in Queensland by providing and maintaining accommodation facilities, food essentials and education programs.

Guests have the opportunity to bid for and win items that have been donated by generous businesses including unique experiences, escape holidays, signed sports memorabilia and much more including two Hyundai vehicles.

The Royal Queensland Show Red Boot Hoot entertainment has something for everyone. For those wanting an interactive experience there will be all the fun of the fair with street theatre, traditional side show alley rides and hands on games; for those wanting to sit back and enjoy there will be first class performers; and for those that want to kick up their heels the band is sure to accommodate.

Tickets for the Gala Ball are on sale now and traditionally sell quickly. Tickets are $195 each or $1950 for a table of ten.
