The Rotary "Pyrenees Magic" bicycle is back again!
This will be the second year for the Rotary Club of Maryborough's "Pyrenees Magic" bicycle ride.
The ride starts from High Street Avoca at 9am and our route winds around the foothills of our beautiful Pyrenees ranges.
It takes in the townships of Moonambel,Landsborough ,Elmhurst,Amphitheatre and back to Avoca.
It is a 100km loop.
The donation for the ride is $50.
The aim of the ride is for each person to ride within their capability and have an enjoyable day.
Rest stops are provided at Landsborough and Elmhurst with drinks and snacks.
In the event of not being able to complete the ride a "sag wagon" will transport you back to Avoca.
This is a charity event for the Maryborough and District Health Services.
Last year we donated $2000 to train oncology nurses to provide this service.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Children 16 years or younger must be accompanied by a cycling adult.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Avoca is approx 200km northwest of Melbourne,65km north of Ballarat, and 90km west of Bendigo. There will be sufficient parking at "Lions Park" Dundas St, next to the Avoca river.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes please, to check that you have arrived.Also please report to our admin that you have completed the ride.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund will be given if we are notified no later than 4/11/14.
Terms and Conditions..
As cycling on public roads is a potentially hazardous activity. By entering this ride it is assumed that the rider takes full responsibility that they are physically fit and that their bicycle is in sound mechanical order prior to undertaking this event.During the event the rider agrees to wear a cycling helmet that meets A.S.A's approval standard,abide by the road rules,obey directions of the route officials and ride with care and consideration of others on the road.In entering the Rotary "Pyrenees Magic" ride, and as a condition of such entry, the rider releases the Rotary Club of Maryborough,its servants and agents from all claims for injury,loss or damage of whatever kind the rider might suffer as a result of any act or omission whether negligent or otherwise in relation to the event.
All riders must ride safely and in control.Look out for hazards to those around you.Keep to the left of the road at all times,particularly when no lines exist.Ride no more than two abreast unless overtaking.Not use mobile phones,walkmans or ipods etc while riding.
