Organisations in the Hunter Region are invited to participate in the "Wear your Beanie for Brain Cancer Awareness Day". To be held during the week Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August 2014 on a day nominated by the Organisation. Each person who wears a beanie will be asked to donate a GOLD COIN donation for the Mark Hughes Foundation. All funds raised go directly to Brain Cancer Research at Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI).

FOR PARTICIPATING PRIMARY SCHOOLS, YOU  COULD WIN!!!

All participating Schools go in the draw to win a Rugby League Coaching Clinic with Mark Hughes and MHF Ambassador, Danny Buderus. There's also a signed 2014 Knights Jersey up for grabs!

The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a not for profit organisation formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Marks diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. Mark is a well known and highly respected former Newcastle Knights Rugby League player, business and community identity who is undergoing treatment to fight brain cancer. The Mark Hughes Foundation has been formed to raise much needed funds to promote research, heighten awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families within the community.
