Ekka Strawberry Sundae Stalls QLD - For The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation - Has Ended
DO Details
Ekka is only two months away! We're still looking for about 900 scooperstars for our Ekka Strawberry Sundae stalls.
Last year, The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation sold 137,000 strawberry sundaes which used 19,000L of locally-made gourmet ice cream and 9 tonnes of delicious South East Queensland strawberries. We raised $160,000 which funded 16 new investigator grants.
The Foundation has three Ekka shifts per day and volunteer duties include chopping strawberries, scooping ice cream, cleaning up, and serving customers. Shifts are 7am – 12pm, 11.45am – 5pm, 4.45pm – 10pm. Volunteers also receive a free strawberry sundae.
We have vacancies every day, but we especially need people for evenings, weekends and the Ekka public holiday. Most morning shifts are full.
Ekka will run from Friday 8th to Sunday 17th August. For more information or to register, visit our website or call 3139 4636.
