Cessnock Volunteer Rescue Association Charity Ball - Has Ended

The Cessnock District Rescue Squad is run purely by volunteers and donations and  is a vital part of this community.Technical advances built into modern  motor vehicles have resulted in much stronger frames which in turn require more  powerful rescue equipment.

The capacity of the squad’s hydraulic cutters  is being pushed beyond their limits and need to be upgraded.Motor  Vehicle Collisions constitute the majority of incidents attended by the Cessnock  District Rescue Squad therefore the upgrade or replacement of the hydraulic  cutters is the squad’s primary equipment focus.To replace the hydraulic  cutters will cost $10,000 - $15,000.

We are hoping raise these funds through  this charity ball and raffles/auctions on the night.
