Take a Hike
Entering its third year, Take A Hike Gold Coast is a 40km hike to raise funds and awareness for AEIOU Foundation supporting children with autism. Commencing at 4am from Chris Cunningham Park, tweed and finishing around 1.30pm at The Spit where a celebratory BBQ will take place.
Volunteer Positions include:
1 lead and 1 rear driver to accompany the support crew (4am – 1.30pm) Moving from Tweed to the Spit
2 volunteers to collect pre-ordered sandwiches (9am) Burleigh SLSC
5+ volunteers set up volunteers (approx. 11am). The Spit, Main Beach
All support crew are provided with AEIOU t-shirts and caps to wear on the day, with lunch provided at completion of event. Bottled water and sunscreen provided. Certificate of Appreciation and if required, written confirmation to accompany any study requirements will be provided.
