Dandelion Day - Has Ended

Dandelion Support Network, a not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney that supports children and families in need by arranging the donation, safety checks, and transport of new and preloved baby clothes and nursery items, has just announced the launch of the inaugural Dandelion Day.

During the last two weeks of November, Dandelion will be encouraging supporters to host a Dandelion Day baby shower at home, in the workplace, with a school, or community group. Participants will come together, in person or virtually, eating delicious food for a small donation or bringing a gift.

Due to the travel restrictions imposed by COVID-19 lockdowns, which restricted the ability of the community to physically donate goods and the ability for social workers to organise the referral and delivery of goods, Dandelion has seen a reduction in the number of families it has been able to help.

Dandelion Support Network is calling on the Sydney community to help re-stock its shelves and provide much-needed support for families and children in need. Your financial support and your nursery items big or small, preloved or new, will go directly to help families in need throughout Greater Sydney and The Illawarra this Christmas and beyond.
