Sometimes people feel more comfortable having conversations in the dark, it enables us to hide discomfort, fear, pain and shame.
These conversations can save lives.
We also need to have conversations in the cold light of day to face facts, the facts that suicide is the leading cause of death in Australia and Prostate cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in men.
Mental health and prostate cancer are not easy subjects to discuss but awareness must be raised so that more young people and more men feel supported and therefore more likely to seek help.
Please join us this Anzac Day for an evening of music by The Avenue band, a live auction, door raffle, food, drink, dancing and a lot of FUN!
Help us save lives in donating to charities that are proactive in supporting young people to choose life and encouraging adult men to get checked.
Help us raise awareness, remove pain, fear, shame, enable conversations and provide support.
