Join Youth Focus for a family-friendly event at Riley Oval on Saturday 27 March to welcome home more than 140 riders and celebrate the momentous completion of the 2021 Hawaiian Ride for Youth.
Now in its 19th year, the Hawaiian Ride for Youth is Western Australia’s premier charity event for youth mental health. Held annually over 4.5 days, participants cycle 700 kilometres from Albany to Perth to raise funds and awareness for Youth Focus. While cycling through towns in WA’s South West, Great Southern and Wheatbelt the riders visit high schools to build awareness of mental health issues and Youth Focus.
Celebrations will be held from 10 am to 12 pm with plenty of fun including a coffee cart, gourmet food trucks and family-friendly activities including face painting, bubbleology, fairy floss and an art and craft station hosted by the event’s naming rights sponsor, Hawaiian.
Official proceedings will kick off from 12pm celebrating the riders, support crew, their families and announcing the final all-important fundraising figure.
