Join us on Saturday 28 November 2020 for the White Cloud Foundation Paddle to Battle Depression. This fun-filled paddle starts at Kookaburra Park at Karana Downs at 8am and finishes around 4pm at Fig Tree Pocket River Reserve.

There’s something for everyone on our charity paddle. You can choose to participate as an individual or in a team, you can paddle the course duration of 35kms or just join the group for the last leg and do 6kms. You can paddle any suitable craft. Please note that if you plan to use a SUP, please use one over 12’ 6”.

The event brings together the community to raise awareness of mental health and much needed funds to support White Cloud Foundation services.

All members of the community are welcome from the professional athletes through to first timer paddlers. We’ll paddle together and help each other out and we won’t leave anyone up the creek without a paddle!

You are welcome to participate in a single or double watercraft.

There are four battle distances to suit all level of paddlers:

1. The Long Haul – 35kms (approximately 7 hours)

Challenge yourself to complete the full course from Kookaburra Park to Fig Tree Pocket. There’ll be a break for lunch and an afternoon rest-stop.

2. The Late Launch – 17.5kms (approximately 4 hours)

Join the paddle halfway at Richardson Park, Goodna. There’ll be an afternoon rest stop.

3. The Team Relay

A great way to take part in the paddle and share the load. Get a team of 2-6 people together and share the 35 km paddle.

4. The Last Leg – 6kms (approximately 1 hour)

Join in the fun of the home stretch Jindalee boat ramp to the finish line at Fig Tree Pocket. This is a great option for inexperienced paddlers or those looking for a leisurely afternoon on the river.
