A Century of I Do - Has Ended

St Andrews Presbyterian Church is hosting a bridal themed event called "A Century of "I Do" on Saturday 16th November 2019 at 2pm. This event will take all who attend on a trip down memory lane as we trace bridal styles from the 1920's until the present day.  

The afternoon will start in the Church with dresses from each decade being modelled as memorable love songs from each era play. Our MC for this part of the event will be Mrs Christine Dunn who will provide interesting details about the dresses and the era they're from, and there will be plenty of opportunity afterwards for you to look over some dresses on display with photographs, history and personal stories included. There will also be a special feature on War Brides in the beautiful Warriors' Chapel area of the Church.

The bridal theme will continue on as you enjoy a special afternoon tea in the Church hall and more opportunity to browse through the dresses from the catwalk, so to speak, and maybe even try some on if you would like to!

It's certainly promising to be a fun and interesting event - the perfect girls' afternoon out!

We are holding this event to fundraise for the various missionaries our Church supports who are working in different parts of Australia & Africa, so your support in attending this event would be very much appreciated!
