With the focus of increasing patient safety, Northern Health Foundation is campaigning to provide 60 new state of the art defibrillators across our four campuses; Broadmeadows, Bundoora, Craigieburn and Epping. From June to November, our aim is to raise $450,000.
The three models, ranging from basic to advanced, save lives in different ways. First responders can use the portable and flexible unit to provide initial care. The standard unit will provide users important feedback and monitoring systems in order to best treat the patient. Finally, the advanced model will provide the most power and monitoring capabilities out of the three, whilst still remaining portable.
