Windsor Road Private Clinic Masquerade Ball - Has Ended
DO Details
The Positive Vibes Foundation proudly presents The Windsor Road Private Clinic Masquerade Ball 2019.
Mental illness is very common. One in five Australians aged 16-85 experience a mental illness in any year. The most common mental illnesses are depression, anxiety and substance abuse. PVF is committed towards removing the stigma of mental illness in communities, through connections and conversations.
This annual fundraising event ensures that our commitment to supporting and running dedicated programs is achieved.
The keynote speaker is Dr Geoff Toogood, a Melbourne cardiologist and mental health advocate who founded CrazySocks4Docs in 2017. The movement has gained national and international attention. Dr Toogood will be talking about his own life experience of dealing with mental illness and his work to raise community awareness.
Join us for a night of canapés, three course dinner, live music and entertainment, raffles, auctions, dancing and an inspirational talk from Dr Toogood.
The mask we wear at the Masquerade Ball symbolises the mask we often hide behind when confronted with mental illness. Bring your own or we will have hand made masks available for sale for just $20 on the night.
