The Farm in Galong, alongside team members of Aspen Medical, is currently hosting a charity gala dinner to help raise money for the continued restoration of the 'Farm', a post-rehabilitation centre for women and children.
The Farm in Galong or the 'Farm' is a regional property offering post-rehabilitation services for woman and children who are suffering from substance abuse, domestic violence and poverty within the ACT region. These women and children have been identified as falling through the gaps of currently available support and are often left in distressing situations.
Treatment offered by the Farm supports these individuals through a therapeutic community. Creating an environment where women and children are given time and space to heal and develop strategies to rebuild their connection to their family and communities.
