The Walsh Accountants Entrepreneurs Cup is unlike any other Polo event on the Gold Coast. Being held on a private property at the Polo & Equestrian Club in Eagleby (5min from Beenleigh), this event is family friendly with a relaxed atmosphere to suit all ages.
Now in its fifth year, this event will not disappoint with entrepreneurs, professionals, and polo enthusiasts from around Australia encouraged to join us in the all-inclusive VIP marquee where they can mix, mingle, and network with other like-minded individuals.
The Walsh Accountants Entrepreneurs Cup is part of the Queensland Polo Association calendar of events for 2019. With three matches of Polo being played throughout the day, we are so excited to be bringing you some intense and very competitive games.
Apart from all of the Polo to keep you entertained, there will be official games and activities such as best dressed competitions, 50m dash races and gumboot throwing competitions, divot stomp to find the lucky horse shoe, and for the kids there will be a mallet race, jumping castle, face painting, and an animal farm. But wait… there is more…
In an effort to raise funds for the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, Walsh Accountants have partnered with My Jewellery Shop for Diamond in the Divot! Simply be in attendance on the day and purchase a commemorative bracelet. Then, you will be in the competition to find the crystal diamond somewhere on the field. Find the crystal diamond and you will win a real diamond to the value of $3500.
In support of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation and the disabled community, this event happily accepts QLD Companion Card Concession. Companion Card holders receive a second ‘companion' ticket at no charge. Companion Card must be shown on entry to the event.

Food & Beverages - Professionally catered with grazing table, gourmet lunch, and assorted desserts. Champagne, Beer, Wine, and Non-alcoholic beverages will be served from the Marquee Private Bar, with Barista made Coffee/Tea also available.
Children under 16 are welcome to accompany their parents in the VIP Marquee free of charge
If you’re looking for something a little different, you can take your VIP experience to the next level with “The Pavilion” – an exclusive 18+ only area inside the VIP Marquee.
The Pavilion guests will enjoy silver service, reserved seating, private grazing tables, a 5 course food experience, and a Taylors Wine Tasting Board; all brought to you by your personal waiters.
Enjoy food and drink services for the duration of the day as you relax in comfort enjoying all the day has to offer.

There is free parking available all day at the event. When entering the venue you will be directed by the marshals as to where to park your vehicle.
Complimentary Bus Transportation
All ticket holders are offered complimentary bus transportation from various locations around the Gold Coast. If numbers permit, we will also be running a bus down from Brisbane.
When completing your ticket registration, be sure to elect for transportation and you will be contacted by the event organiser two weeks from the event with further information.

VIP Marquee FAQ
What does all-inclusive mean?
All of your food and drinks are included in the cost of your ticket.
Will we cater for specific dietary requirements?
This event is professionally catered and where possible we will cater for a variety of individual dietary requirements including gluten free & vegetarian options
If you have any questions in relation to dietary requirements, please contact the event organiser.
Can you bring your own food?
In the case where you have a specific food allergy and/or dietary requirement, or food being provided for babies and children, yes you may bring your own food. Other than that, no food is permitted to be brought into this event.
Can you bring your own drinks?
With the exception of drinks/bottles for children, no drinks are permitted to be brought into this event.
Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?
Yes - You will need to show either a printed or electronic ticket when entering the VIP marquee so you can receive your name tag. Only people with name tags are permitted entry into the VIP marquee so it is imperative they are worn throughout the day.
Can children enter The Pavilion?
No. The Pavilion is 18+ only
Can my children enter and stay in the VIP Marquee while I am in the Pavilion?
No. Children must be supervised at all times so if you are in attendance in The Pavilion, your children can not be at this event.
Upon arrival, you will be directed to your specific seat by our Pavilion attendees.
Could the event be postponed or cancelled?
Yes -In the case of bad weather, this event may be postponed or cancelled. If we are forced to be postponed, you will receive text or email on the morning of the event so please ensure you provide an email and mobile phone number when registering. Please also check the Walsh Accountants Facebook page for event updates.
What is the refund policy?
If the event is affected and therefore postponed by weather, we will advise patrons of the alternate date and tickets remain sold for the backup date.
If the event is forced to be cancelled, all monies will be refunded less any bank charges.
Diamond in the Divot T&C’s
- Cost of the commemorative bracelet is 1 for $70 / 2 for $100 with all funds being donated straight to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation
- Each bracelet = 1x entry into the Diamond in the Divot competition
- Only people in attendance at the Polo on the 25th August may purchase a bracelet & enter the Diamond in the Divot competition
- Bracelets/ Competition Entries limited to 100
- Bracelets will also be sold on the day with EFTPOS facilities available
