The Story of Compassion - Has Ended
DO Details
The story of Compassion began in 1952 when American evangelist Rev Everett Swanson travelled to South Korea to preach the gospel to troops in the Republic of Korea army. Seeing the need of the children in the aftermath of the war moved Everett to action and Compassion child sponsorship was born.
Compassion Australia is delighted to be hosting Dr Justin Suh, CEO/President of Compassion Korea to share the story of Korea—the first and only country to go from field country to funding country. Justin will also share his heart for the poor in North Korea and across the globe as he pursues God’s calling for his life to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Join us for a Korean feast, at one of two sittings, to hear how God is working in Korea. While children are welcome to attend, there are some aspects of the story being shared which may not be considered child-friendly.
