Event description

HUSTLE WITH HEART CHARITY GALA DINNER hosted by Project Gen Z

The third edition of our annual Hustle with Heart Dinner Affair is here - this year it coincides with Project Gen Z's 5th year anniversary! So believe us when we say that this is going to be one amazing charity extravaganza for all big-hearted hustlers, entrepreneurs, business owners and young professionals.

Together with everyone that attended, and through the generosity of sponsored items for auction/raffle, we were able to raise $30,000 in 2018 and $23,302 in 2017!

This year, we’re back at it again to raise more funds than we did last year - let's hit $100,000!!

We'll have a star-studded line up of special guests and entertainment - Geraldine Cox AM - Founder of Sunrise Cambodia

Andrew Morello - Entrepreneur, Speaker and Investor

and many more to be announced!

--

For the fifth year running, Project Gen-Z has organised a team of entrepreneurs to travel to Cambodia to educate and inspire over 100 disadvantaged youths aged 15-25 years old and raised over $400,000 for our charity partner Sunrise Cambodia. These youths often come from severe poverty and suffering, are looked after by Sunrise Cambodia where they are fed, clothed, educated and given a new way of life. As we have the ability to create the lives and careers we dream of, this also gives us the opportunity to make a positive difference in this world. With your help, we believe that this will be entirely achievable.

FAQs

WHO IS SUNRISE CAMBODIA?

Sunrise Cambodia is a world-class charity working on the ground to give crucial support to at-risk communities living in some of the most poverty-stricken provinces in Cambodia.

Founded by Australian Humanitarian Geraldine Cox AM, Sunrise Cambodia is a sustainable community development organisation with a focus on Cambodia’s most vulnerable children and the communities in which they live.

Cambodia’s turbulent political history turned a once peaceful nation into a violent battlefield, leaving the country’s good-natured people on the brink of despair. The civil war of the 1960s and 1970s coincided with the US attack on the Cambodian countryside, devastating communities and prompting widespread poverty. Shortly after, a brutal genocide instigated by radical communist leader, Pol Pot, saw over a quarter of the population systematically murdered – a barbaric act where he sought to advance his political ideologies of revolution and eradicate the educated. More than 40 years later, the deep loss of an entire generation is still widely profound.

After 25 years, Sunrise Cambodia has grown to support whole communities with healthcare, clean water, sanitation and education facilities so that families can prosper. With these resources, as well as the determination to rebuild their lives, the children of Cambodia are able to be optimistic for a brighter future.
