CyclePower Thailand/Malaysia Dinner

We're bringing the taste of Thailand to your Melbourne winter with a special dinner event at Sibling Spice.

You will be treated to a mixed entree and a selection of three main dishes accompanied by rice. Additional drinks may be purchased from the bar. There is a vegetarian option but you MUST indicate the number of vegetarians you are booking for.

The event will feature a Q&A with our CyclePower Thailand/Malaysia feature rider, Penny Stevenson. Penny is the first vision impaired cyclist to ever take part in CyclePower and will be joined on her tandem by her support rider Anna.

Your ticket includes a donation to Disability Sport & Recreation and the CyclePower initiative. When purchasing your ticket, make sure you choose the rider you would like your donation to be allocated to. Your generous support will help our riders reach their individual fundraising goals.

Your ticket also includes entry into the door prize and raffle. Extra raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the night, for the much coveted prize of a signed North Melbourne guernsey.

Accessibility

The venue is accessible and has an accessible toilet.

About CyclePower

Over the past eight years, the CyclePower initiative has visited Vietnam, Cambodia, Fiji, Thailand, Bali and Sri Lanka, supporting projects across the South East Asia region and Victoria.

In that time, over 45 riders with and without disability have cycled over 3,500 kms together, raising awareness about disability and what can be achieved.

It is a unique and exciting way to connect with a country and its people, all while raising awareness and funds for a great cause.

On 1 August 2019, a group of like-minded people who are passionate about cycling, travel and making a difference, will set out on an unforgettable 10-day cycling adventure covering more than 450km through the stunning Thailand and Malaysian landscape.

We believe actions speak louder than words

The CyclePower initiative empowers people with disability to show the world that physical activity is for everyone – no matter your ability. CyclePower riders will not only discover their own personal inner strengths, but develop a greater understanding of the unique challenges faced by people of all abilities as they ride, live and play together.

Your support will empower Victorian, Thai and Malaysian people with disability. Help us change the way the world sees disability.
